We are committed to uphold and endorse the teachings of the Holy Bible, God’s Word, in its entirety. We will encourage all believers to first love God with all their heart, soul, and mind; and second to love their neighbor as themselves (Matthew 22:37-40). We will strive to fulfill the “Great Commission” to win others to Christ, to build them up as believers, and to equip them to be disciples of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). We are committed to exemplify the pattern of encouragement as presented in 1 Thessalonians as follows:
1. We enjoy the Word of God.
“You welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit” (1 Thessalonians 1:6).
2. We exemplify Christian living.
“You became a model to all believers . . .” (1 Thessalonians 1:7).
3. We expect Christ’s return.
“Wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead . . .” (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
4. We endure any difficulties.
“So that no one would be unsettled by these trials” (1 Thessalonians 3:3).
5. We experience godly love.
“Now about brotherly love . . . you . . . have been taught by God to love each other” (1 Thessalonians 4:9).
6. We esteem our leadership.
“Respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work” (1Thessalonians 5:12,13).
