Sunday School
- Nursery: There is a Nursery provided for every child 0-2 years old.
- Preschool Class: Meeting downstairs in the “Noah’s Ark” room, 3 year old – Kindergarten age children meet for age appropriate lessons and activities.
- Early Elementary: Children in grades 1-3 meet together in an upstairs classroom for a story and age-appropriate activities. The teachers rotate every quarter.
- Late Elementary: Children in grades 4-6 meet together in an upstairs classroom for discussion, a Bible lesson and age-appropriate activities. The teachers rotate every quarter.
Awana
- Cubbies: 3-4 year olds enjoy a Bible story, games, snack, and the stories in their handbook. Carole Leahy is the Cubbies Leader.
- Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade): The Sparks all meet together for a Bible lesson, game time and snack time. Then they split into grade-groups for their handbook time. Kindergarten is led by Gloria Smith, First Grade by Dwayne & Becky Brown, and Second Grade by Amie Bushnell.
- Truth and Training (3rd – 6th grade): The T&T all meet together for a Bible lesson, game time and snack time. Then they split into grade-groups for their handbook time. Third grade is led by Chad Bushnell, Fourth Grade by John Hendrickson & Bill Hewlett, and the Fifth and Sixth Grade group is led by Ron Zerbe & Steve Huffman.
Vacation Bible School
Every summer WOBC hosts a week-long event that children love! In 2011 we will go wild with Pandamania the mornings of June 27 – July 1. Beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a rousing time of singing and drama, the children will then break into groups. The preschoolers will go downstairs for their own crafts, stories, and activities. The other children will rotate between games, crafts, Bible time and Chaddar’s Movie Mania. Snacks, fun, music, and even being on-screen are all part of the fun. Ages 3 years old – 6th grade.
